The Alpine Solstice Half Marathon course winds through the Deschutes National Forest off of Cascade Lakes HWY with flowing single track trails classic to Central Oregon. This route has just 1300ft in elevation gain making for a fast trail half! The course is mostly non-technical making it a good choice for a first trail half. There will be one aid station located along the course at mile 8.2. The aid station will be fully stocked with a variety of aid station food - PJB's, chips, bananas, cookies, other sweet items and along with water, Coke, Ginger Ale, Gnarly nutrition (electrolyte drink) and gels.
